ALBUQUERQUE—United States Attorney Kenneth J. Gonzales today announced the launch of a new page on the United States Attorneys public website that will highlight the work of the United States Attorneys’ Offices on Department of Justice priorities and initiatives. The new page, the Briefing Room, will offer news, videos, photos, statistics, and other information on the efforts of the United States Attorneys’ Offices across the country.
Each month will feature a different Department priority. May 2011 is dedicated to Project Safe Childhood (PSC) and includes information on the PSC Initiative, the Department’s National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction, the upcoming National Strategy Conference on Combating Child Exploitation, press releases on significant PSC cases, statistics on convictions and sentences in PSC cases, and prevention and Internet safety resources. Next month, the Briefing Room will feature the Attorney General’s Anti-Violence Strategy.
The site is a convenient resource for information on what the United States Attorneys’ Offices are doing on Department priorities and initiatives. It also provides useful links to additional information and resources on the topic in focus.
