FBI and FBI National Academy Associates Honor Fallen Kirkwood Police Sergeant William Biggs, Jr.

What: FBI St. Louis and local chapter of FBI National Academy Associates will dedicate plaque in memory of Sgt. William Biggs, Jr.
When: Sept. 22 (Tuesday) at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive 20 minutes early to go through metal detector, sign in and to be escorted inside building.
Where:

FBI at 2222 Market Street
Parking in visitor’s lot along Market Street or metered parking along 22nd

Why: In 2000, FBI St. Louis nominated Sgt. Biggs to attend the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He sacrificed his life on February 7, 2008 during the shootings at Kirkwood City Hall. Sgt. Biggs is the first local graduate of the Academy to die in the line of duty from adversarial action.
