Spokane Violent Crime and Gang Enforcement Team and Partners Take Down Drug Trafficking Criminal Enterprise
Operations in Four States Result in 29 Arrests

More than 100 federal, state, and local law enforcement agents coordinated arrest and search operations this morning at approximately 20 locations throughout Spokane, Washington and in Idaho, Nevada, and California to arrest 29 subjects implicated in an alleged significant drug trafficking enterprise. The subjects will face an array of charges in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington for conspiracy to distribute PCP, methamphetamine, ecstasy, and oxycodone; some of these subjects are alleged to have operated a continuing criminal enterprise. The arrests are the culmination of more than one year of investigation by the Spokane Violent Crime and Gang Enforcement Team (S.V.C.G.E.T.) and local, state, and federal partners.
According to the criminal indictment, DEANDRE GAITHER, of Spokane Valley, Washington, with STAFONE FUENTES and JASON L. JONES of Spokane, Washington, along with KORY A.J. HALL of Las Vegas, Nevada, engaged in a continuing criminal enterprise to distribute PCP and other illegal drugs. Investigators in Spokane, Washington; Rathdrum, Idaho; Las Vegas, Nevada; San Diego, California; and Long Beach, California searched locations believed to contain evidence of the criminal activity of this enterprise and made numerous arrests.

The charges contained in the indictments are only allegations. A person is presumed innocent unless and until he or she is proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
The case is being investigated by the S.V.C.G.E.T.—composed of the FBI, Spokane Police Department, and Spokane County Sheriff’s Office—and other law enforcement agencies, including the Washington State Patrol, United States Border Patrol, the Washington State Department of Corrections, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). The United States Marshals Service, the Spokane Valley Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Spokane Regional Drug Task Force, and Homeland Security Investigations were also integrally involved in this enforcement action. Today’s operations in Idaho, Nevada, and California were carried out by FBI field offices in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
