Lancaster Man Charged with Enticing a Minor

Richard Haines, Jr., 59, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was charged today by indictment with enticing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct so that he could take pictures of the conduct and with possession of child pornography, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 130 years with a 15 year mandatory minimum; five years up to a lifetime of supervised release; $1,250,000 fine; restitution; forfeiture; and a $500 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Michael L. Levy and Michelle Rotella.
