Final Defendants Involved in Williamsport and Milton Area Crack Cocaine Distribution Ring Federally Sentenced

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that the final defendants involved in a Williamsport and Milton area crack cocaine distribution ring were sentenced last week by United States District Court Judge John E. Jones, III.

Terrell Boozer, age 24, of Milton, Pennsylvania; Tara Jenkins, age 24, of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania; and Aaron Jackson, age 23, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were sentenced last week for their role in the drug ring. Boozer was sentenced to 96 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release. Jenkins was sentenced to 21 months’ imprisonment and six years’ supervised release. Jackson was sentenced to 12 months and one day of imprisonment and three years’ supervised release.

The other four defendants all charged with conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine were previously sentenced. They include Tyrik Cobbs, age 24, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who was sentenced to 27 months’ imprisonment, three years’ supervised release; Eric Ford, age 21, of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, who was sentenced to 36 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release; Reginald Marchman, Jr, age 22, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who was sentenced to 36 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release; and Joseph Paige, IV, age 23, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 60 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release.

According to United States Attorney Peter J. Smith, beginning sometime in the summer of 2007, Boozer obtained multiple ounces of crack cocaine from sources in Philadelphia and brought it back to Williamsport where he and Cobbs would sell it. In the summer of 2008, Boozer, Cobbs, Paige, Marchaman, Ford, and Jackson moved the drug ring to Milton and Watsontown area. In total, approximately 500 grams of crack cocaine was attributed to this drug distribution ring.

This case was investigated by the Milton Police Department and the Williamsport office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Prosecution was handled by Assistant United States Attorney George J. Rocktashel.
