Two Indicted on Armed Robbery Charges

An indictment, filed on January 11, 2011, was unsealed today against Jermaine Graham and Tyrone Green, charging them both with one count of conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery, two counts of Hobbs Act robbery, and two counts of using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment also charges Graham with one additional count of Hobbs Act robbery, and one additional count of using and carrying a firearm during a crime of violence.

If convicted of all charges, Graham faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, a mandatory minium sentence of 57 years, five years of supervised release, a $1,750,000 fine, and a $700 special assessment; Green faces life imprisonment, a mandatory minium sentence of 32 years, five years of supervised release, a $1,250,000 fine, and a $500 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew J. Schell.
