Serial Bank Robber Strikes Again

FBI Philadelphia August 14, 2010

The FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify and locate the subject responsible for the robbery of the CitiBank branch located at 2118 Cottman Ave at 9:30 a.m. this morning. This same subject is believed to be responsible for three other recent robberies, including the 7/23/10, robbery of the Wachovia Bank branch at 2227 South Broad Street, the 7/26/10, robbery of the Citizens Bank branch at 10650 Bustleton Avenue, and the 8/2/10, robbery of the Conestoga Bank branch at 2444 South Broad Street.

The subject is described as a white male in his 20’s to early 30’s, 5’5” tall, thin to medium build, with a thin beard and tattoos on both forearms. In previous robberies the subject has worn sunglasses either low on his face or over his eyes, and baseball caps. In today’s robbery, he was wearing a brown hat, no sunglasses, a dark t-shirt with a long grey shirt underneath, and jean shorts.

Although there are no usable pictures of the subject from today’s robbery, photographs from previous robberies are below, and more information is available at www.phillybandits.com.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. This subject is considered armed and dangerous. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
