Levittown Man Charged with Receiving and Possessing Child Pornography

John Russell was charged today by indictment with receiving and possessing child pornography, announced United States Attorney Michael L. Levy.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 30 years’ imprisonment, a mandatory minimum of five years’ imprisonment, a $500,000 fine, a mandatory minimum of five years’ supervised release up to a lifetime of supervised release, restitution, and a special assessment of $200.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Scott M. Cullen.
