FBI Omaha Agents Arrest Wanted Fugitive from Seattle

FBI Omaha February 03, 2011
  • Public Affairs Specialist Sandy Breault (402) 492-3720

Special Agent in Charge Weysan Dun announced today that Omaha Division FBI agents arrested Anthony G. Hill this morning, without incident, while he was leaving a residence he was staying at in Thurman, Iowa.

An arrest warrant was issued on January 27, 2011, in Seattle, Washington for Mr. Hill, charging him with wire fraud. The charges resulted in an ongoing investigation by the FBI Seattle Division. FBI agents transported Mr. Hill to the Southern District of Iowa for his initial appearance.

As is always the case, charges set forth in an indictment are merely accusations and do not constitute proof of guilt. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty.
