Lincoln Resident Sentenced to 10 Years in Federal Prison for Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine

United States Attorney Deborah Gilg, the Lincoln Police Department, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and FBI announce the following information for the attention of the media:
Event Triggering this Release:
The Honorable Richard G. Kopf sentenced Peoria Brye to 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. In addition to the prison term, Brye is ordered to complete five years of supervised release and pay a $100 special assessment fee. Brye was involved with a number of individuals who distributed crack and cocaine in Eastern Nebraska for a two year period beginning in October of 2006. Brye was responsible for distributing over 1.8 kilograms of crack and nearly a half kilogram of powder cocaine.
