Seeking Information on Robbery of Bank of Oklahoma Branch

OKLAHOMA CITY—James E. Finch, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Oklahoma, announced the robbery of the Coppermark Bank, 1245 West I-240 Service Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

At approximately 3:15 this afternoon, a black male entered the bank and verbally demanded money from multiple teller drawers. The bank employees complied with the demand and the robber left the bank carrying an unknown amount of U.S. currency in a small black trash bag. A weapon was not seen and no one was injured in today’s robbery. The robber left the bank in a white, newer model Ford F-150 crew cab truck with tinted windows, large chrome rims, and possibly bearing a Texas license plate.

The robber was described as a black male approximately in his early 20s, brown hair, and 180 pounds. The robber wore a gray sweatshirt and light-colored or white in color pants.

The robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
