Midwest City Bank Robbery

Below is a high quality surveillance photograph taken from today’s robbery of Bank of Oklahoma, SE 15th and Midwest Blvd., Midwest City, Oklahoma. There was an additional robbery of a Bank of Oklahoma branch in Del City shortly before this robbery. There is no known connection at this point.

For information, today at 3:57 p.m., an unidentified white male entered the bank, approached a teller, displayed a note which was attached to a blue bag, and demanded money. He gathered the money and exited the bank on foot and was last seen after he crossed Midwest Blvd. in a westbound direction. No one was injured.

The robber was described as a white male, 6’0”, in his 50’s, medium build, wearing a tan ball cap with an unidentified yellow colored logo, blue long sleeved shirt with three buttons, blue jeans, gray hair, gray mustache and goatee, and blue jeans.

A reward of up to $2000 is being offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for anyone with information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for robbing a member bank,

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (405) 290-7770 (24 hour number).

The investigation is being conducted by the FBI and Midwest City Police Department.
