Greendale Resident Sentenced for Cocaine Distribution

COVINGTON, KY—Quentin Foster, 34, of Greendale, Ind. was sentenced today to 210 months in prison for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine by United States District Court Judge David L. Bunning.
In November 2009, Foster pleaded guilty to the charges and admitted that he sold cocaine in Kenton and Boone Counties to a confidential informant on four separate occasions. Foster also admitted that he used minors to deliver drugs and sold cocaine for approximately one year. Foster has two prior convictions for drug trafficking.
Under federal law, Foster must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence, and, upon release, will be under the supervision of the United States Probation Office for eight years.
James A. Zerhusen, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky and Timothy D. Cox, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, jointly made the announcement today after the sentencing.
The investigation was conducted jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force. The United States was represented by Assistant United States Attorney Elaine K. Leonhard.
