Overland Park Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Producing Child Pornography

KANSAS CITY, KS—A Shawnee Mission, Kansas, man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for producing child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.
Steven Miller, 30, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, pleaded guilty to a charge of producing child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that investigators found child pornography he produced on computer hard drives. The photos showed Miller sexually abusing a 3-year-old boy. The abuse took place in 2003 while Miller was living in Overland Park, Kansas.
Grissom commended the Overland Park Police Department, the FBI, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kim Martin for their work on the case. This case is being prosecuted as part of the Justice Department’s Project Safe Childhood. For more information, see http://www.justice.gov/psc/.
