Kansas City Man Sentenced to Six Years for Possession of Child Pornography

KANSAS CITY, KS—A Kansas City, Kansas, man has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for possession of child pornography, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said today.
Jeremy Brown, 38, Kansas City, Kansas, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that an FBI agent was able to download child pornography from Brown’s file sharing program through GigaTribe. The images the agent downloaded included a photo of an adult male penis in front of a sleeping baby with semen on the baby’s face. A forensic exam of Brown’s computer revealed more than 600 images of child pornography.
Grissom commended the FBI and Assistant U.S. Attorney Kim Martin for their work on the case. This case was prosecuted under the Justice Department’s Project Safe Childhood. For more information, see www.justice.gov/psc.
