Gunman Robs Hedwig Village Bank
Suspected in Two Other Recent Robberies

The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the Wells Fargo bank at 8800 Katy Freeway in Hedwig Village this afternoon.

The robber approached the teller and pulled out a black semi-automatic hand gun which he placed on the counter.  He then demanded cash.  Some witnesses report that the robber may have left the area in a blue Mustang GT vehicle.  

He is described as a black male, approximately 40 years old, 6”0” tall, 230-240 pounds, heavy build, with a dark complexion.  He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap with the “OP” logo on the back, royal blue coveralls, and sunglasses.
