Through the course of our investigation, there has been no discovery, at this point, of any connection between the Southwest Plaza Mall incident and the Jefferson County School District.

We are still asking for continued public assistance in reporting suspicious activities they might have observed near or at Southwest Plaza Mall. The suspect, Earl Albert Moore, 65 years of age, white male, approximately 200 - 225 lbs, 6’0” - 6’2” in height, bald, blue eyes, with a grey mustache, was last seen wearing glasses, and has multiple tattoos. He remains at large and a nationwide man hunt is underway.

Moore is considered armed and dangerous and has an extensive criminal background. The public is urged to call 911 or the Jeffco Tip Line at (303) 271-5615 if they know the whereabouts of Moore or have any information that could assist in the investigation.

Additional information will be released to the media as it becomes available.
