Robbery of U.S. Bank Branch in Santa Fe

The U.S. Bank branch at 600 San Mateo Road in Santa Fe was robbed March 29, 2014, at approximately 9:00 a.m.

A man walked into the bank, showed a teller what appeared to be a black pistol, and demanded money.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-35 years old, 5’8’’ to 5’10’’ tall, approximately 140-180 pounds, with black or brown oily hair, and a tan complexion.

He wore a baggy, light gray hooded sweatshirt (hoodie); red bandana with white stenciling; sport sunglasses; blue jeans or gray sweat pants; black sneakers; and dark gloves.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for info leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
