Robbery of Western Commerce Bank Branch in Carlsbad

The FBI and Carlsbad Police Department are looking for a man who robbed Western Commerce Bank branch at 127 S. Canyon St. on Thursday, December 13, 2012.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-60s or 70s. He was unshaven and had dark-rimmed glasses and a small build. He appeared to be wearing a dark beanie and jacket.

Witnesses say the suspect walked into the bank at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
