Arrest Made in Bank of the West Robbery in Albuquerque

Anthony Roy Campos, 32, of Albuquerque, has been arrested in connection with the robbery Monday (2/6/2012) of Bank of the West, 780 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, near Lomas Boulevard NE, Albuquerque.

Campos is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Tuesday.

Witnesses say a man entered the bank at about 12:20 p.m. and gave a teller a note that demanded cash.

The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Albuquerque Police Officers arrested Campos a short time later.

Charges in criminal complaints and indictments are only accusations. All criminal defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
