Albuquerque Bank Robbed

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are investigating the armed robbery today of MyBank, 6000 Montgomery Boulevard, near San Pedro Drive, NE.

The robbery occurred at about 3:20 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The suspect, described as a possibly white male in his late 20s, about 5’10”, with a stocky build and weighing about 200 pounds, showed a handgun and demanded money.

Witnesses say he wore a light blue hoodie with dark blue stripes on the shoulders, dark blue sweatpants with a white stripe down the leg, black shoes, and a light colored bandana over his lower face.

The robber took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The FBI is investigating whether this individual could be responsible for other bank robberies in the area.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s).
