Northern Virginia Resident Agency (NVRA)
The Northern Virginia Resident Agency (NVRA) is a state-of-the-art facility located in Manassas, Virginia. The NVRA construction project was initiated in August 2006 by the Peterson Company, a locally owned builder located in Fairfax, Virginia. Upon the completion of major construction activities and the establishment of critical building infrastructure systems in January 2008, Washington Field Office personnel relocated from Tyson’s Corner, Virginia to the NVRA facility. The NVRA is a “green” facility and is the first FBI building to be awarded gold certification under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.
