The FBI Indianapolis Office is seeking information regarding the suspect(s) responsible for the September 6, 2017, pipe bomb explosion. The incident took place at the East Chicago, Indiana, post office, located at 901 E. Chicago Avenue. The explosion occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m. CST, injuring one postal employee.


Displayed above is a composite sketch of the suspect. He is described as a White male, approximately 6'0" tall, thin build, clean shaven face, and approximately 30 years old. The suspect wore dark-rimmed glasses, black pants with very slender legs, dark vinyl sneakers, and a faded black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up. The suspect had a unique walk.
