Sex Crimes Investigation
Southeastern United States
1980 to 2006
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking the public's assistance to identify alleged victims of a suspected child predator who has been living in the Southeastern United States.
Ronald Keith Black, Sr., born December 24, 1946, was arrested on April 29, 2016, in Lillington, North Carolina. He was charged with 29 counts of first degree sexual offense and 12 counts of indecent liberties with a minor. The charges stem from a lengthy investigation into the sharing of child pornography over the internet.
Black allegedly sexually abused several juveniles from as early as the late 1980s, until approximately 2006. He has connections to the Lillington and White Lake, North Carolina, areas, as well as Florence, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Black was once a youth group leader at a Baptist church in the 1980s, and may also have been a baseball coach.
The FBI's Charlotte Field Office, in partnership with the Raleigh Police Department, is working to both identify and locate potential victims of Ronald Keith Black, Sr. Those who believe they may have been victims are being encouraged to come forward to aid investigators.
