The FBI is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown suspect involved in an unauthorized intrusion into a power plant in Winfield, West Virginia. On December 30, 2023, between 9:00 p.m. and 9:31 p.m., an unknown individual gained unauthorized access to the interior of the John Amos power plant. Surveillance cameras captured images of a late 1990s to early 2000s Jeep Cherokee being driven by the suspect. The driver of the vehicle is described as a White male, late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 '9" to 5'10", and weighing approximately 165 to 175 pounds.
