FBI Richmond is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the homicide of three-year-old Sharmar Hill, Jr. .
Details:
FBI Richmond’s Central Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force and investigators with the City of Richmond Police Department continue to investigate the homicide of Sharmar Hill, Jr.
As a result of gunfire that erupted in the 1700 block of Southlawn Avenue in the Hillside Court neighborhood on February 1, 2020, three-year-old Sharmar was shot and killed while he and his sister were playing in their yard.
Prior publicity resulted in numerous tips about the January 31, 2020, carjacking. These tips have lead investigators to believe additional subjects may have exchanged gunfire with the carjacking subjects, resulting in Sharmar’s death.
