On September 18, 2019, an unknown male suspect entered the RVA Wireless Store located in the 10000 block of Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield, Virginia. The unknown suspect approached the victim clerk, armed, and demanded money. Investigators believe the same unknown male suspect entered the College Mart located in the 1500 block of Chamberlayne Avenue in Richmond, Virginia, on October 11, 2019. The unknown suspect approached the victim clerk, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. The victim clerk was unable to open the register. The unknown suspect discharged the firearm and forcibly removed the entire cash register from the counter. The victim clerk was not injured in the firearm discharge.

The unknown suspect is described as a black male, medium complexion, 30 years of age and 5'8". The unknown suspect wore (in both robberies) jeans and a black NASA hooded sweatshirt with blue sleeves. During the RVA Wireless Store robbery, the suspect wore a black bandana and leather-type mask; and in the College Mart robbery he wore bright red shoes.
