Details:
The FBI's Los Angeles Field Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown individuals responsible for a series of armored car robberies between February 2022 and February 2023. The robberies have occurred in South Los Angeles, Hawthorne, and Inglewood, California. It is alleged that several unknown suspects operate by overtaking the armored car drivers when they service drive-thru ATMs or exit businesses. They zip tie the driver while holding them at gunpoint, enter the armored vehicle and steal the money. On one occasion, one shot was fired but no one was injured.
