    Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution - Murder, Assault with a Firearm, Participation in a Street Gang

    REWARD: The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Alexander Morfin.

    Alexander Morfin is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of a man in Modesto, California, on September 3, 2008. On that date, Modesto Police Officers responded to a shooting in the area of Dezzani Lane and Ustick Road in South Modesto. When they arrived, they found the victim who had sustained several gunshot wounds as he walked down the street. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.

    A local arrest warrant was issued for Morfin on March 10, 2010, in the Stanislaus County Superior Court, after he was charged with murder, assault with a firearm, and participation in a street gang. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Morfin in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Fresno, California, on March 11, 2010, after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

    Morfin may have travelled to Nevada, California, or Mexico.
