The FBI's Washington, D.C. Field Office is assisting the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the United States Marshals Service, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms with their search for Marcel Gordon. On Saturday, July 4, 2020, in the 1400 block of Cedar Street, Southeast, Washington, D.C., at approximately 9:21 pm, MPD responded to a shooting. An 11-year-old, Davon McNeal, was shot and later died. Three individuals have been arrested for this crime. The Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is seeking one additional suspect, identified as Marcel Gordon of Southeast, Washington, D.C.
On July 8, 2020, an arrest warrant was issued for Gordon in the D.C. Superior Court after he was charged with first degree murder while armed (premeditated).
