On August 27, 2020, Anele was sentenced to 36 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of Unlicensed Money Transmitting Business. Anele failed to appear to serve his sentence, and on March 25, 2022, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Anele in the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia.
