The FBI knows a confident public is more likely to vote, to trust the outcome of the election, and know their vote made a difference. That’s why the FBI prioritizes investigating voter and ballot fraud. It is a crime to intentionally give false information when registering to vote. It is a crime to receive money or something of value in exchange for voting. It is a crime to mail-in absentee ballots in the names of deceased people. FBI Omaha’s mission is to protect the integrity of federal elections. We can do our job better with the help of our community. If you see voter or ballot fraud, call the FBI field office or go online to report it.”
