Hello, I’m Mike McPherson, special agent in charge of FBI Tampa

And I’m Jason Mayor, director of technology risk and assurance for Raymond James Financial.

McPherson: You’ve heard of the recent Cyberattacks targeting American businesses, critical infrastructure, and government agencies. These cyber breaches threaten the safety of our nation and its economy.

Mayor: We can’t fight these cyber intrusions alone, which is why it’s important to establish a partnership with your local FBI field office.

McPherson: That’s right, Jason. Getting the FBI involved at the first sign of a breach allows us to react appropriately and provide the highest level of support to those affected.

Mayor: If you haven’t already, develop a formal incident response plan, and include the FBI in that plan. And remember to report the compromise early.

McPherson: Cybersecurity is National Security.  Together, we can defend America’s assets, values, and ingenuity.
