Hello, I’m Sid Patel, special agent in charge of the Sacramento Field Office.

The FBI Citizen’s Academy is a 6-to-8-week program with business and community leaders to share the great work the men and women do every day to keep out communities safe.

Kate Folker: It's been really fascinating is learning that everyone comes from just  different backgrounds and brings their expertise from that background. I think that's been incredibly valuable that there is not one type of FBI agent that everyone has such a diverse experience and I have really enjoyed learning that piece.

Verbal Adam: It’s a great opportunity to meet actual FBI agents to learn about the workings, the interworking's of the FBI, what it’s like to be an agent and of course you get to go, to the to the range with the FBI and let you play with some of their pretty cool toys including the tommy gun.
