My name is Elisabete Santos, I have been a Special Agent for almost 19 years, and I am currently responsible for training and national academy matters.

What inspired me to work for the FBI was to make a difference and help make the world a better place.

Some of the obstacles I faced along the way was not having prior military or law enforcement background was learning about our law enforcement system.

There is a place for females in our organization, you can accomplish work-life balance at the FBI. I am a mother, I am a wife, and I’m also a special agent with the FBI.
