Women's History Month: FBI Newark Victim Specialist Keyla Munoz
FBI Newark Victim Specialist Keyla Munoz describes her initial fears about joining the FBI. "Follow your dreams with tenacity. The choice is yours."
Video Transcript
What inspired me to work for the FBI is that I wanted to be at the forefront of making a change in our community. I feel that I am passionate about helping those that are in need and that our job is very rewarding.
One of the obstacles I have had to overcome is my own fear. It can be intimidating to work in a male-dominated field. I was afraid to not be able to be successful.
There is a place for you here in the FBI. I encourage you to leave behind your fears, doubts, and insecurities. Follow your dreams with tenacity. The choice is yours.
