InfraGard 2024
Security is a shared responsibility between the American business community and law enforcement. InfraGard members discuss how the program strengthens the protection of critical infrastructure through partnership.
Video Transcript
Moul: InfraGard represents the premise that security is a shared responsibility between the American business community and law enforcement.
Silverman: Security is a common and shared goal, and we're all in it together. We don't compete against security.
Wicker: When it comes to your professional life, and you are part of protection within your organization, and you’re not an InfraGard member, I don't know how you can do the job without having their resources and their partnerships
Gerhart: It is so important to be able to connect with our partners so we can build those trusting relationships. So in the event that we do have an issue, we can pick up the phone and connect with somebody whom we already know.
Stachnik: I think if everyone knew how many opportunities we had within and figured everyone would join.
Wicker: You can expect several things as a new member of InfraGard,
Gerhart: ...a lot of relationship-building
Moul: ....members also gain access to exclusive training and education opportunities,
Goldberger: One of the advantages of InfraGard is that you can really choose your own level of involvement based on what's going to be the most help for you and the most help for your career.
Silverman: What InfraGard has brought to me is building the local community, that I wouldn't normally get in my day-to-day job.
Stachnik: And as the coordinator for the FBI and InfraGard program, Morgan can call me, and I can help direct her to the right FBI resource.
Goldberger: One of the biggest values of InfraGard for me was helping transition from the public sector to the private sector. It introduced me to a community of people both in the public and the private side. We're all working on the same goals and the same topics.
Willenberger: When I've had issues, I've been able to go straight to other people to get guidance from them on what they've experienced
Moul: No other program brings together professionals from all levels of our national security apparatus to include the dedicated men and women of the FBI, American business leaders, government leaders, and the critical infrastructure operators who work to protect our vital national assets.
Sekela: The mission of the InfraGard program is to enhance our nation's ability to address and mitigate threats to the United States' critical infrastructure by fostering collaboration, education, and information sharing through partnership.
