'A Big Asset to Have Tribal PD and BIA With Us'

Sam Davenport, a special agent in the Pinetop-Lakeside office of the FBI's Phoenix Division, describes how helpful it is for the Bureau to have support on reservations from the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and Tribal police departments.

It's a big asset to have tribal PD and BIA, Bureau of Indian Affairs, working with us.

There's a lot of things on the reservation that as a non-tribal member, or somebody that didn't grow up there, you don't know.

There's a lot of locations and that we just aren't aware of. A lot of times, there's no a lot of times there's no addresses. A lot of times it's remote locations.

So to have people there that either know specific areas or they've been there long enough that they know family members, it's very helpful for us. They're a huge asset.
