I’ve had a lot to deal with death. But let me tell you, as much as I love my dad, mom, and sisters and brother, it pales to what losing Beth—there's no—it's like my insides were literally sucked out. I’d lay in bed and I felt like the Tin Man. I felt like if I tapped my chest, I was going to get an echo. But you choose to make a difference, and I know this had … the reason I brought this up, I was having my best friend, who's 89, she calls them my BB death days—Bad Beth Days. I was having combination Bad Beth Day, and it was the anniversary of when my sister died, who was her best friend. I said to Glenn, “You know what? The trees out there, the bushes and everything out in front of Patty Jane's house, they need—we need to replant these.” We went out there, we dug out all this stuff. We bought all these shrubs, spent the day just fixing up the front of her porch. We were tired, we were dirty, but boy did we feel good, and it made her feel good. That's how we handle the sadness.
