Ellen Glasser, National President of the Society of Former Special Agents:

The Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI is really happy to come together with the Jacksonville FBI to show them our appreciation for all they do for our community. And so, for the first time we awarded a Special Agent of the Year, Support Employee of the Year, Task Force Officer of the Year and Humanitarian Service Award.

Typically, FBI employees don’t get public recognition. They do their work quietly without fanfare, and they don’t get that public nod. And so, we were really happy to be part of giving them kind of a public nod because we do know how hard they work, and we really appreciate it.
