Man Pleads Guilty in Connection with ATM Solutions Robbery

ST. LOUIS, MO—The United States Attorney’s Office announced today that Eddie Oliphant pled guilty to a charge involving his assistance in concealing stolen money from the August 2010 robbery of ATM Solutions.
Eddie Oliphant, St. Louis County, pled guilty to one felony count of accessory after the fact. Eddie Oliphant appeared today for his plea before United States District Judge Catherine D. Perry, who set sentencing for June 26, 2012.
Eddie’s nephew, Jacobi Oliphant, St. Louis County, pled guilty to the same charge on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Jacobi’s sentencing is set for June 26, 2012.
Robert Oliphant, Buffalo, Missouri, Eddie’s brother, pled guilty to the same charge on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Robert’s sentencing is set for June 26, 2012.
Eddie, Jacobi, and Robert Oliphant now face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or fines up to $125,000. In determining the actual sentences, a judge is required to consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines, which provide recommended sentencing ranges.
Monday, April 10, 2012, Candi and Cathy Goodson were sentenced by U.S. District Judge Catherine D. Perry. Candi received 18 months for conspiracy to transport stolen property, and Cathy received one year probation for lying to a federal agent.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Tom Mehan is handling the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
