FBI Seeks Information Concerning Serial Bank Robber
Suspect Dubbed the Bucket List Bandit

The FBI and law enforcement officials across the country are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a serial bank robber who has allegedly robbed at least 10 banks across the United States since June 2012.

During each robbery, the unknown male, dubbed the “Bucket List Bandit,” enters the bank, approaches the teller, and has been known to present a demand note. The suspect has also been known to have a black, zippered portfolio. In several of the robberies, he has alluded to having a weapon, though none was observed.

He is described as a white male, 5’6”-6’2” tall, 55-60 years old, with a thin build, gray hair, and possibly a mustache. He is normally seen wearing jeans and a blue polo shirt or blue T-shirt. The suspect also has a mustache and wears glasses. At the robberies in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Bloomington, Illinois, the subject was seen with a black compact SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Captiva or similar model, with a silver rack on the roof.

The last robbery occurred in Erie, Pennsylvania, on September 10, 2012.

The unknown male has allegedly robbed the following banks:

  • June 21, 2012: Chase Bank, 5250 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, Colorado
  • June 27, 2012: Chase Bank, Chase Bank, 1484 S. Milton Rd, Flagstaff, Arizona
  • July 6, 2012: Pocatello Ireland Bank, 486 Yellowstone Ave, Pocatello, Idaho
  • July 6, 2012: Wells Fargo Bank, 5603 S. 1900 West, Roy, Utah
  • July 20, 2012: Bank of America, 1209 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, North Carolina
  • August 3, 2012: BB&T Bank, 2120 Gunbarrel Road., Chattanooga, Tennessee
  • August 17, 2012: PNC Bank, 2217 W. Market Street, Bloomington, Illinois
  • August 29, 2012: Landmark Bank, 202 N. Stadium Blvd, Columbia, Missouri
  • August 30, 2012: Lindell Bank, 4521 Highway K, O’Fallon, Missouri
  • September 10, 2012: Huntington National Bank, 2185 West 12th St., Erie, Pennsylvania
