For 25 years, the Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS) Advisory Policy Board (APB) has helped CJIS adapt and expand our programs to maintain an edge in the fight against crime and terrorism. The FBI developed the CJIS APB to solicit guidance from the users of the division’s services. APB subcommittee and working group participants provide input on the development and operation all the CJIS Division’s programs.
The APB’s 25-year milestone is rooted in a history of collaboration spanning five decades.
Read more about that history and the work of the APB in the 2019 CJIS Year in Review (starting on page 2).
