FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III to Visit Seattle

Laura Laughlin, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Seattle Office of the FBI advised today that FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III will visit Seattle on Thursday, October 8, 2009, to meet with management and employees of the Seattle FBI Office. Director Mueller makes regular visits to the FBI’s 56 field offices in order to be briefed on local issues and cases and to discuss recent developments at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.   

Members of the media are invited to a press availability with Director Mueller on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:50 p.m. It will take place at the Seattle office of the FBI, which is located at 1110 3rd Avenue in Seattle. The Director will make some brief comments and take questions from reporters.

Press credentials will be required for entry and must be displayed during the event. Due to additional security screening measures that day, members of the media are asked to arrive no later than 2:20 p.m. Parking spaces will be reserved for the media on the north side of Spring Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue.
