FBI Seeks Information About Serial Bank Robber

The San Francisco office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation seeks assistance from the public in identifying and locating a man responsible for at least three bank robberies in Concord since early August 2008, two of which occurred at the same branch.

The suspect is described as either Caucasian or a light skin African-American male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, weighing about 180 pounds, appearing to be in his late 20s to late 30s and has a tattoo on the back of his left hand.

On November 26, 2008, and again on January 22, 2009, the individual is suspected of robbing the ECC Bank, located at 901 Sun Valley Boulevard, Concord, California.  He wore a ski mask, blue jeans and brandished a black semi-automatic handgun.  He also appears to have a tattoo on the back of his left hand which may or may not extend up the length of his forearm.

On August 8, 2008 a person matching the same physical description, including the tattoo on the back of the left hand, robbed the Mechanics   Bank located at 1170 Concord Avenue, Concord, California.  He wore a ski mask, blue jeans and brandished a black semi-automatic handgun.
