The FBI Joins the San Diego Community for National Night Out

The FBI and law enforcement agencies around the country diligently work for the good of the communities we serve and for the nation as a whole. But we can’t do it alone—we also need the support of the people who live in those communities.

Tonight, across the country, neighborhoods, towns, and cities celebrate crime prevention efforts with block parties as part of the annual National Night Out. National Night Out events are held on the first Tuesday of August.

This year, FBI employees and members from the FBI’s Citizens Academy Alumni (CAA) and Teen Academy will be joining in the effort by handing out information about the FBI Child ID app, the FBI-Safe Online Surfing (SOS) Internet safety program, identity theft prevention information, cyber scams, and much more.

Please stop by and visit us at the Kroc Center at 6845 University Avenue in San Diego, California, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and/or Grape Day Park at 321 N. Broadway in Escondido, California, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
