FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seek the Public’s Assistance to Identify Bank of America Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Bank of America, located at 1407 Main Street in Ramona, California, on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015, at approximately 11:17 a.m. the Bank of America located at 1407 Main Street, Ramona, California, was robbed by an unknown male (hereinafter referred to as the robber). At the time of the robbery, the robber approached the victim teller and presented a demand note for cash. Simultaneous to presenting the demand note, the robber lifted up his shirt and displayed what appeared to be the handle of a handgun. The victim teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided him with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money, the robber collected the cash and walked out of the bank. No injuries were reported at this time.

Witnesses described the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Height: Approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall
  • Build: Thin
  • Hair: Gray, unshaven
  • Age: Approximately 60 to 70 years old
  • Clothing: Tan baseball cap, dark colored sunglasses, a black and white plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes
