The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown male bank robber who attempted to rob the California Bank and Trust located at 29124 Valley Center Road in Valley Center, California, on Friday, April 3, 2015.

On Friday, April 3, 2015, at approximately 5:15 p.m. an unknown male entered the California Bank and Trust located at 29124 Valley Center Road in Valley Center, California, and demanded everyone to get down on the ground. The suspect threw a backpack on to the counter and demanded the victim teller to put money on the counter. The victim teller could not comply because all employees were demanded to lay on the ground. The suspect then fled the bank without receiving any money.

During the attempted robbery, the suspect kept one hand in his jacket pocket while threatening the use of a gun. No weapon was seen. No injuries were reported.

The suspect was seen leaving in a newer, black colored vehicle with no plates, heading towards Escondido on Valley Center Road.

The robber wore a flower-covered motorcycle skull helmet, was dressed in all black, and covered his face with a dark scarf in both robberies. He is described as 5’7” tall, medium build, with a fair complexion and a large nose.

• Clothing: Dressed in black, black scarf covering face, flower-covered motorcycle skull helmet
