FBI Director James B. Comey to Visit San Diego

FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge Robert Howe announced today that FBI Director James Comey will visit the San Diego FBI Field Office on Thursday, September 11, 2014. During his visit, Director Comey will meet with San Diego FBI agents, professional staff employees, and local law enforcement executives. Director Comey was sworn in as the seventh Director of the FBI on September 4, 2013, and since that time visited a number of the FBI’s 56 field offices.

Members of the media are invited to attend a press availability with Director Comey, on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 3:25 p.m. at the San Diego FBI Field Office, 10385 Vista Sorrento Parkway, San Diego, California. The Director will make some brief comments and then take questions from reporters.

Press credentials will be required for entry and must be displayed during the event. Due to additional security screening measures that day, members of the media are asked to arrive no later than 2:50 p.m.
