FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department Seek Public’s Assistance to Identify Citibank Robber

The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Citibank branch located at 740 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach, California, on Friday, December 6, 2013.

On Friday, December 6, 2013, at approximately 3:15 p.m. the Citibank branch located at 740 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach, California, was robbed by an unknown male using a demand note claiming to have a weapon. After receiving a sum of money from the victim teller, the robber walked out of the bank. No injuries were reported and no weapon observed.

Witnesses describe the robber as follows:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Black
  • Eyes: Brown/black
  • Age: Late 20s to early 30s
  • Height: Approximately 5’4” to 5’5” tall
  • Build: Thin to medium
  • Weight: Approximately 130 to 150 pounds
  • Hair: Braided hair
  • Clothing: Dark baseball cap with white letters, tan/beige long-sleeved pullover sweater with collar zipper, dark pants, and light-colored shoes
